At random.... without warning... not a sound, nor an alarm...
sudddenly you are at peace with the world and your surroundings.
You can be anywhere. You can exit a store, leave a restaurant, or walk to the mail box and find yourself instantly at peace with everything.
And the moment you recognize it it is gone.
It's almost as if you are living a memory of a memory....
It's 'once upon a time' telling the story of 'once upon a time'....
It's more than long ago and far away.... it's a moment that no one will capture or understand but you. It's yours.
It's an old song played over a memory of you and a best friend wrapped in emotions and inhaled like so much cocaine that the rush will overtake you like an acidic deja vu journey...

there's nothing like a handful of words to depict the madness of daily life. it seems so simple sometimes yet the maddening truth is that there is nothing simple about it. you never know when life will creep up on you and bite. i only hope to guide someone thru the chaos.
