......is designed for two groups of people, but not intentionally, no. If this is the case then we are in a sad State of Things.

The actors and actresses involved in theatre are fantastic people. They love and appreciate the chance to act, to perform, to be part of a bigger production to entertain the massese. Yes, that is a Noble endeavor.

However, those that the performance is best suited for never see the act.

In fact the audience is often depraved, pretentious and arrogant. Rarely is it possible to get a room full of people so full of themselves to sit in a room with others full of the same disdain. The fashion leather purses, the outrageously priced shoes, the contempt they hold for everyone in the room.

Yes, theatre is a dark and dreary world. On one side is purity and practice and rehearsal and the other is laden with arrogance and ignorance.

The people that watch the play rarely have coffee with the performers. When did the people watching the show become better than those performing?

Every actor/actress is a better person than every show watcher. We will never know what goes on behind curtains.
