pleased with the fading rays of light
brightness finally giving way to nite
shadows grow long as sunlight dims
heavy darkness walking soft again
sleepless yet peaceful a prophet trudges on
mentally condescending the impending dawn
dimly light lights light the nocturnals path
quietly contemplating lashes of past wrath
still, the hours of nite cannot suspend
temporarily the lacking light can cleanse
soaking up the black a lone soul marches
thirsting for truth--the soul parches
in an instance all wrong is right
dues paid--pledge allegiance to the nite
